THE HOUSE FOR 5 FLATS

The floating house for 5 flats, Project 133Б/888 on the base of the floating concrete hull 45 meters long, was designed using 3D programme due to the complicated form of the superstructure.

Outside design of the vessel imitates the ancient technology of the vessel hulls' construction by rivet method. With this aim plastic parts, imitating rivets, were fixed on the surface. Also, provided on the vessel are half-spherical windows from hardened glass.

The vessel is non-autonomous, the supply of electric power, heat and water is carried out from the shore.

Design of the vessel is carried out by the сircular circuit, that is why each 2-level flat, the area of one flat is about 120 m2, has the view to the water area.  Provided in the fore part of the vessel is the common room with a fireplace. Service rooms and the gym are provided for in the hold.

At present the vessel is sited on one of the water reservoirs in the Moscow Channel.
