REINFORCED CONCRETE QUAYS
The quay is designed for mooring of vessels, for passage of the wheeled transport by the quay and for cargo-handling works, for supply of different types of electric power, of gas and fuel from the shore to a vessel.
The quay can be constructed from several similar reinforced concrete pontoons (standard set of the quay is three pontoons, providing for the mooring of ships with displacement up to 5000 t), steel shore-to-quay connection bridge and engineering lines.
MAIN PARAMETERS
Length of the quay from three pontoons (without the bridge), m | about 109 |
Bridge length, m | about 18 |
Length of one pontoon, m | 36 |
Breadth of the quay, m | 9,0 |
Height of the side, m | 2,6 |
About 100 quays of different types have been built according to the present project since 1970.
