LIGHT-WEIGHT QUAY
Type and purpose - floating, metal*, (dis)mountable light-weight quay. The quay provides for mooring of ships (launches) with displacement up to 300 t.
Operational conditions - protected water area with the following characteristics:
- wave height up to 0,5 m;
- wind force up to 40 m/s;
The supply of domestic fresh water, electric power supply to the vessels and telephone communication is provided for.
The parts of the quay are interchangeable and can be repaired. Required strength, stability and seaworthiness are provided for.
Provided is the possibility of passage of the wheeled transport.
* Pontoons can be made from sulfate-resistant reinforced concrete with foamed polysterene filling.

Connection of pontoons is carried out by means of hinges. Connection with the shore is provided for by means of a bridge. If necessary, the length of the quay can be enlarged for the length, equal to the length of one pontoon.
Standard anchorage of the quay is provided for by means of the chains without spacers, caliber of the chain is 19, and reinforced concrete dead anchors.
