FLOATING REINFORCED CONCRETE SUPER-HEAVY QUAY
The quay is designed for mooring of vessels, for passage of the heavy transport by the quay, for carrying out of cargo handling works, for supply of different types of electric power, of gas and fuel from the shore to a vessel.
The quay can be constructed from several similar reinforced concrete pontoons (standard set of the quay is three pontoons, providing for the mooring of ships with displacement up to 18000 t), steel shore-to-quay connection bridge and engineering lines.
Length of the quay from three pontoons (without the bridge), m | about 154 |
Bridge length, m | 23,7 |
Length of one pontoon, m | 50 |
Breadth of the quay, m | 13,5 |
Height of the side, m | 4,0 |
About 40 quays have been built by the present project since 1966.
FLOATING REINFORCED CONCRETE SSUPER HEAVY-WEIGHT QUAY
The quay is designed for providing the mooring of heavy aircraft carriers ("Admiral Kuznetsov"type) through special pontoon spacers, and also for mooring of vessels with displacement up to 18000 t and for supply of electric power and technical means to the moored vessels from the shore.
The quay consists from 5 reinforced concrete pontoons, one of the pontoons is the energy-power pontoon, of a steel bridge for connection with the shore and engineering lines.
Length of the quay (without the bridge), m | 255 |
Bridge length, m | 23,7 |
Length of one pontoon, m | 50 |
Breadth of the quay, m | 13,5 |
Height of the side, m | 4,0 |
